Luke’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: His Street Fighter 5 Attire
Luke’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is his default outfit from Street Fighter 5. The concept art used for this Costume 3 is the same as the one created for Street Fighter 5. He was the last character added to Street Fighter 5 to act as a bridge between the fifth and sixth games. Luke is younger, less friendly, and more aggressive in Street Fighter 5 compared to Street Fighter 6, which is reflected in his wilder hair and facial expressions. The logo for Buckler, the company he started working as an instructor for in Street Fighter 6, is printed onto his shorts.
Jamie’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: American Streets Meets Chinese Martial Arts
Jamie’s Oufit 3 in Street Fighter 6 combines traditional Chinese clothes with sneakers to reference both his upbringing and his love of breakdancing. Jamie can be seen training in this outfit in his final World Tour Bond story. The mix of Chinese garb with American sneakers also bears minor similarities to the clothes worn by Yun and Yang, characters from Street Fighter 3 who Jamie knows and references as his inspirations.

Kimberly’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is her idea of ninja-like attire. She is an American who really likes ninjas and went out of her way to receive training from them. As such, Kimberly’s look is based on her experiences and expectations, while adding a bit of her own style. Her electric blue hair is also reminiscent of bright spray paint colors like the ones she uses in her special moves.

Marisa’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is her wedding dress made for her by her grandmother. Marisa wants to be the strongest fighter, and it’s also her dream to marry someone who can be considered her equal. This gown can be seen in Marisa’s final Bond story in World Tour Mode. Marisa’s Spartan heritage serves as the inspiration for her hairstyle, and the dress has pant legs so players can see her legs kicking independently for visual clarity.

Lily’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is the outfit she would wear to a local Mexican festival. Official commentary from the designers confirms that a mariachi costume served as the outfit’s inspiration because pants would be easier to move around in and were a better match for Lily’s personality than a dress.

Juri’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is a onesie she wears around the house. She even sleeps in this outfit, as shown by her disheveled hair. There’s a spider toy on the back of the outfit to reference the spider motif of many of her other costumes. In typical Juri fashion, she does not wear slippers around the house.
Dee Jay’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: The Flashiest Suit Imaginable
Dee Jay’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is a sparkling suit reminiscent of a disco ball. This costume continues in the vein of reinforcing Dee Jay’s artist career in Street Fighter 6. Although this outfit is entirely new, it takes some design elements from unused concepts, such as the golden rings and “DJ” belt buckle.
Cammy’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: A Redesigned Reference to the Animated Movie
Cammy’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is loosely inspired by a short scene from Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie. In the movie, Cammy very briefly wears a red hood while sneaking through a crowd. In Street Fighter 6, it is redesigned into a jacket that is both functional and modern. Her locket has a photo of Delta Red, the special forces team that adopted Cammy when she had amnesia.
Ryu’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is the ensemble Chun-Li bought with him after she found out the only clothing that he owned was his karate gi. This is referenced in Ryu’s second Bond Story in World Tour Mode. In the Bond Story illustration, Ryu hasn’t yet changed his headband, but for his Costume 3, he wears a bath towel around his head instead. Street Fighter 6 isn’t the first time Ryu’s lack of clothes has been referenced, however: in 1998, guest artist Daigo Ikeno illustrated Ryu doing laundry in his underwear because he had no other clothes besides the gi he was washing. This artwork is included as a legacy illustration in Street Fighter 6’s image gallery.
E. Honda’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: A Sumo Wrestler on Vacation
E. Honda’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is his vacation outfit. Across his shirt are Japanese expressions relating to sumo. On his back and right shoulder is the writing “Nippon Ichi,” or “Japan’s best.” On the front of his shirt is a sign that translates to “All seats sold, thank you,” which is typically written on banners in sumo halls when there are no seats left. On his left shoulder is “shoubu ari,” which is exclaimed when a match is over, similar to “we have a winner.” The red and white (kouhaku) cords (mizuhiki) around his hat and ankle are symbolic of good luck.
Blanka’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: It’s Blanka-Chan
Blanka’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is Blanka-chan. Blanka-chan is a mascot Blanka created in Street Fighter 5 to represent the rainforest and to try to make his normal appearance feel less scary. The Street Fighter 6 Blanka-chan has overalls and chains on his ankles to match Blanka’s default costume, compared to his brown shorts in Street Fighter 5. Blanka-chan also appears in World Tour Mode, and players can equip the costume themselves.
Due to the major change in character silhouette and hitbox obfuscation, the Blanka-chan costume was banned from Street Fighter 5 tournaments.
Guile’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: A Countryside Barkeep
Guile’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is meant to feel nostalgic, as if Guile worked at a bar in the countryside on his off time. Although he has a new hairstyle, his sleeves both have American flags on them to reference his iconic arm tattoos. The back of his jacket and belt buckle features an airplane to reference his time in the Air Force.

Ken’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is his look from before falling from grace. Before Street Fighter 6, Ken was a wealthy businessman and heir to the Masters Foundation. In Street Fighter 6’s story, JP has utterly ruined Ken by framing him for terrorist activity. As a result, Ken has gone into hiding, resulting in his default costume’s haggard appearance. Ken’s Costume 3 is instead a return to his “peak,” wearing a snazzy outfit with a fancy new hairstyle.
Chun-Li’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: Casual But Practical
Chun-Li’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is her casual attire that still maintains practicality. Beneath her Chinese-inspired jacket are clothes fit for training in. Although Chun-Li had a whopping 27 costumes in Street Fighter 5, this outfit is entirely new, and even features a new hairstyle. Like Dee Jay’s Outfit 3, Chun-Li’s takes bits and pieces of its design from unused concepts, specifically from her unused white outfit with wide-legged pants and a similar top design.
Zangief’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: The Intellectual Wrestler
Zangief’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is meant to display his “unlikely intellectual side,” according to the designers. In World Tour Mode, Zangief reveals that his passion besides wrestling is reading. Even in his more academic outfit, he shows off his wrestler side through a decorative pin shaped in his image.
Dhalsim’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: A Casual Outfit For Having a Nice Chat
Dhalsim’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is his casual outfit for when he’s out on the town, chatting with friends. Although this costume doesn’t directly reference anything, it features handmade accessories that were gifted to Dhalsim.
Rashid’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is sporty with “some ‘tech-wear.”” As the Street Fighter official Twitter account explains, this costume is meant to encompass Rashid’s love of gadgets as well as the sports and parkour he does on his streams. As seen in his concept art, similar costume ideas for Rashid were considered earlier in the game’s development, but this Outfit 3 is entirely new to the series.
A.K.I.’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: Her Own Take on F.A.N.G.’s Outfit
A.K.I.’s Outfit 3 in Street Fighter 6 is reminiscent of her master F.A.N.G.’s clothes in both silhouette and material. Considering how much she respects her master, it isn’t surprising that she wants to wear something that could match his own outfit, but still give it her own personal twist, as the Street Fighter official Twitter account puts it.
Ed’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: The King of Glow-Up’s Neo-Shadaloo Uniform
Ed’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3 is his uniform as the leader of Neo-Shadaloo. Compared to his short-sleeved Shadaloo uniform with awkward boxing gloves in Street Fighter 5, Ed’s SF6 Outfit 3 is much cooler with a long coat and matching gloves—unsurprising, considering the major glow-up he got in general. This outfit was first seen in an illustration in Ed’s World Tour Mode Bond story, after an illustration depicting Ed in his original Shadaloo uniform.
Akuma’s Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3: The Unarmed Warrior
According to the Street Fighter official Twitter account, Akuma’s Outfit 3 is inspired by Gojinjo-Daiko performances. The Gojinjo-Daiko is a kind of taiko drum that can only be played by residents in Nafune, Wajima, as it is a very important part of their history. As the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) explains, the powerful warlord Uesugi Kenshin attempted to invade Wajima in 1570. The unarmed villagers wore demon-shaped masks with seaweed as long, disheveled hair to appear as frightening as possible. When they beat their drums, it sounded like the earth-shaking, which scared Uesugi Kenshi away. Now, yearly performances are held in Nafune in honor of the event. While Akuma has nothing to fear when unarmed, the inspiration behind his Outfit 3 is an amazing piece of Japanese culture and history.
While each character’s Outfit 3 must be purchased in the in-game shop, everyone’s Outfit 2 can be unlocked for free in World Tour Mode, including A.K.I.’s, Ed’s, and even Akuma’s.
