At approximately 7:20 p.m., deputies responded to a report of multiple armed suspects entering a home and stealing items. Two victims were home at the time. No injuries have been reported. There is no known threat to the community. This is an ongoing investigation.20Like27

RALEIGH POLICE DEPARTMENT2+ weeks agoAgencyThe Raleigh Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a homicide that occurred in the 3300 block of Quail Hollow Drive on February 24. On Saturday, February 24, 2024, at approximately 4:53 a.m., the Raleigh Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 3300 block of Quail Hollow Drive. Responding officers located Jose Ignacio Marquez-Diaz, 23, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Diaz was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. At approximately 9:30 p.m. on December 20, 2023, deputies responded to a report of a vehicle hit by gunfire while on Louisburg Road near Pulley Town Road. The victim reported that someone shot at his vehicle while he was driving. Investigators have determined that shots were fired from another car. This is being investigated as a road rage incident. No injuries have been reported. As of this release, no one is in custody. This is an active investigation, and there is no additional information at this time. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
